REVIEW: J. Biebers new music video gives me flashback to 2001..

I can not believe I am actually writing a post about anything regarding Justin Bieber, but here goes..

After spotting the horrific trending topic on twitter Boyfriend Video Made Us Wet I had to update myself on the latest pop culture news and have a look at J. Biebers new music video ‘Boyfriend’ that came out yesterday. After 12 hours ish it has over 1,4 million views on Youtube, I actually expected more.. Still disturbed by the fact that this guy is only.. 18 years old.. (I had to look that up and I was so sure he was younger.. time flies!!) Ok, 18 years old is not that young, he can drive a car and where I am from he can even vote and drink alcohol under 21%. But his fanbase is what, ranging from 10 year old girls or something? There is a marketing issue here that needs to be pointed out, but that is not why I am writing this posts today.. Here is the video:

Back to the video, it is cool, pretty girls, cool guys dancing, crazy expensive cars, a parkinglot and Bieber singing and touching a girl.. wait? I have seen this before… ? If you are old enough to actually remember the year 2001, when Beiber was only 7, a boyband with a guy fronting the group with the same name as Bieber had a smiliar video. Yes, I am talking about Justin Timberlake and *Nsync. (Yes, I am old enough to remember that they used to write it with a star.. ) Do you remember their musicvideo ‘Girlfriend’?
